Rosemarie Fitton | Creative Director of Heterarchy Interior Architecture & Design

Having successfully completing a BA Hons IDEA (Interior Design Environment Architecture) at the highly respected (and now highly fashionable) Ravensbourne College of Design, Rosemarie set up Heterarchy on the back of a string of exciting commissions.

Ambitious and talented, she was willing to prove her worth - even in a highly competitive market filled with many more experienced people - and prove it she did - and has for over ten years now.

She has a real wealth of experience and expertise - from bars and hotels through to large scale residential developments, high spec private houses to temples.

To all of these projects, she has brought her own exceptional creative talent, but, like Tony, she's no 'creative lovey'. Ask her about the electrics or plumbing, and she'll be as animated about that as she would about a design solution. Don't be surprised to find her in deep conversation with a contractor about the finer points of installing concealed valve components!

Rosemarie learned early on that real project success is about the users' experiences - what it's like to live in, shop in, work in, eat in - and pray in.

In the last couple of years Rosemarie has been able to put her interest in sacred and spiritual architecture to good use, with the commission to design two landmark temples - one in Leicester and one in Central London, both due for completion in 2011. This marks a new chapter for her creativity, and for the continued success of Heterarchy.

In fact, she is now also studying part time for an MA in inter-religious relations, examining the role of buildings in the creation of integrated communities. Evidence, if more were needed, that when Rosemarie gets stuck into something, she really gets stuck into it!

This infectious enthusiasm has made her one of the most in-demand interiors designers in recent years - among architects, construction companies, entrepreneurs and creatively charged home owners.

And it's one of the reasons why so much of Heterarchy's work comes from personal recommendation - and there's no better recommendation than that.
